FAIR IN BIJELJINA: TOURISM AND GASTRONOMIC OFFER OF THE REGION

The International "Bijeljina-Turist" Fair, held on April 24th and 25th, will feature the participation of one hundred exhibitors from regional countries who will present their tourism and gastronomic offerings, said Dragan Tešić, spokesperson for the Bijeljina Tourist Organization.

He noted that the Tourism and Gastronomy Fair will include exhibitors from Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Romania, the Federation of BiH, as well as almost all local tourist organizations from the Republic of Srpska.

"The first day of the fair will be dedicated to the promotion of the region's tourist offer, and on the second day, for the first time, high school students from culinary schools in the Republic of Srpska will present their skills," Tešić emphasized.

According to him, particular interest in participating in the fair has been shown by associations preserving the traditions of their regions, honey producers, as well as family farms offering traditional homemade products.

The Tourism and Gastronomy Fair "Bijeljina-Turist" will be held at the "Drina" hotel.
