WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THIS YEAR’S “PRKOS FEST”

“PRKOS FEST,” a cultural event that celebrates the arts in all their forms, will once again bring a breath of fresh artistic air to Derventa’s summer evenings.

The Branko Radičević National Library in Derventa will serve as the festival’s main stage, welcoming a wide range of artists and creators to its open-air plateau.

This year’s edition of the festival offers a rich and diverse program:

JULY 4, 2025 – Accordion Orchestra of Aleksa Šantić Elementary School from Ugljevik

JULY 11, 2025 – Literary Portrait: Milan Rakulj

JULY 18, 2025 – “Jazavac” City Theatre, play titled “The Truth”

JULY 25, 2025 – Musical ensemble “Libertango” from Banja Luka

AUGUST 3, 2025 – Creative and educational workshops for children with academic painter Vujadin Malešević and history professor Brankica Simić

“The goal of this event is to showcase all branches of art and bring them closer to all generations,” the organizers stated.

Over the past few years, Prkos Fest has filled Derventa’s summer days and nights with a variety of artistic expressions, offering something for everyone—young and old alike.
