Writer Milivoje Mlađenović was honored for his powerful script, while Bojana Milanović received the Best Actress Award, recognized by both the jury and the audience.

The jury stated that Mlađenović’s play not only delves into the complexity and tragic fate of singer Sofka Nikolić, but also masterfully connects different time periods, portraying the broader social mentality through her story.

Bojana Milanović was praised for her strong performance, conveying Sofka’s emotional struggle through words, gestures, movement, and especially her authentic singing. This marks her fourth major award for the role, and the seventh overall for the play directed by Sonja Petrović.

The City Theatre “Semberija” emphasized their pride in the success, especially because the story is based on a real historical figure from Bijeljina and written by their own team.
