The unique ŠA Fest is back. This festival, which intertwines sorrow and joy, tradition and innovation, is not just a musical event but an emotional journey that revitalizes the community. It will take place from July 24th to 27th, 2024. This year’s festival events will be held at various locations in Prijedor.
ŠA Fest will again offer fantastic music for all generations. On Friday and Saturday, July 26th and 27th, the “ŠA Live” program will take place in the Summer Garden, featuring major regional stars. Friday's lineup includes Partibrejkers, Sunshine, Artan Lili, Bigru & Paja Kratak, and Eho Radar. On Saturday, Dubioza Kolektiv, Edo Maajka, Atheist Rap, Grin Bulz, and Motherfunky will perform.
Fans of electronic music will also enjoy world-renowned DJs. The "Electro Park" zone in the Old Town will keep you awake until the early morning hours with Ian Pooley, Alexander Kowalski, Marta, Dejan Milićević, Dejan Milosavljević, Mladen Tomić, Siniša Tamamović, Level7el, and many others.
ŠA Fest begins on Wednesday, July 24th, with a concert by Rambo Amadeus and a stand-up performance by Neša Bridžis in the “Antistress Zone.” On Thursday, the same venue will host Buč Kesidi, with DJ Dejan Milićević taking over for the after-party. During the day, the “Antistress Zone” will feature ecological and art workshops.
On Wednesday and Thursday, the “Ša Kids” program will take place at the Small City Square, featuring a performance by the “Haos Animators” and a children’s music program. The “Art Corner” in front of the “Sreten Stojanović” Gallery will showcase an exhibition of posters on the theme of internet violence by students from the art academies in Banja Luka and Novi Sad. Additionally, art workshops will be held in the “Art Corner.” At the same time, the “Yugo Logo” exhibition on the topic of graphic design in the former Yugoslavia will be displayed in the Gallery.
- ŠA Fest transforms the city into an open-air stage where music, theater, and visual arts intertwine, creating a living canvas on which a new picture of culture is drawn. This festival is not just a tribute but a spark that ignites creativity and community spirit. Besides headliners of the 'Live Stage,' like Partibrejkers, Sunshine, and Atheist Rap, as we surprised the audience in previous years with the appearances of Konstrakta and Senidah, this time the main stage will exclusively feature another major regional star—Dubioza Kolektiv, says the ŠA Fest team, inviting everyone to follow their social media updates regularly.
ŠA Fest is supported again this year by the City of Prijedor, a long-time friend and sponsor of the festival.
ŠA Fest is a memorial festival dedicated to Prijedor’s visual artist and musician Dalibor Popović Mikša. It is held in Prijedor, and the festival’s proceeds are directed to the foundation of the same name, which supports talented artists and their original work.
