A unique presentation of the novel “It All Started on December 2” by author Nenad Bosnić took place on November 3 at the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy in Banjaluka, bringing together literature, theatre, and dance.
Instead of a traditional book presentation, the audience experienced the atmosphere of this dystopian thriller through dramatic performances by young actors Mila Prosan, Ana Vukelić, Nikola Milaković, and Branislav Aleksić.
The novel explores themes of freedom, human relationships, and society, raising questions about the true meaning of freedom and the price people are willing to pay for it.
The evening concluded with a creative dance performance by members of the Gemma Dance Club, combining modern ballet and hip-hop to bring the novel's themes to life.
The event also had a charitable purpose. All proceeds from book sales during the presentation, totaling 570 BAM, were donated to the Vladimir Lukić Fund, which provides scholarships for outstanding students of the faculty.
“It All Started on December 2” is Nenad Bosnić's second book, following “Trosvijet” (2022). The new novel is available at all Kultura bookstores.
The event demonstrated how literature can connect different art forms while supporting young talent and education.
