The monograph titled "Vihor’s 30", authored by Milorad Đurđević and Nenad Simić, will be officially presented on October 17 at the Cultural Center in Derventa.
With
the publication of this monograph, the Serbian Literary Club "Vihor"
will mark the 30th anniversary of its founding. The monograph highlights
numerous cultural events organized by the club over the years, including: In
Memory of Milovan Bjelošević Beli, the International Ilindan Poetry Meetings
“Praljača”, Vihorovo Stihovanje, tributes to deceased poets, poetry gatherings,
Vihor’s collaborations, publishing activities, media coverage, and the Vihor
Gallery.
The monograph features illustrated photographs documenting the club’s journey from its founding to the present day.
“This
publication was made possible thanks to the support and understanding of the
City Administration and Mayor Igor Žunić, under whose high patronage the
ceremonial academy marking the 30th anniversary was held. The promotion of the
monograph is a continuation of these celebrations,” the organization stated.
The
event is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., and will also include the presentation of
awards to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the club’s
work.
