GRADIŠKA ONCE AGAIN HOSTS THE REPUBLIC OF SRPSKA THEATRE FESTIVAL "LJUBICA"

The third edition of the Republic of Srpska Theatre Festival "Ljubica" will take place from May 17 to 23, 2025, at the Cultural Center in Gradiška.

This unique theatrical event will once again bring together the best theatres from the Republic of Srpska in competition for the title of the best play.

The festival is named after Ljubica Lazić Stefanović, the first professional actress from Bosnia and Herzegovina, who was born in Gradiška. 

Her life story and contribution to theatre have left an indelible mark, and this festival serves as a tribute to her pioneering work.

This year, the competitive program will feature Narodno Pozorište Istočno Sarajevo, adding diversity and quality to the festival’s repertoire. The festival selector is Slađana Zrnić, a leading actress at the National Theatre of the Republic of Srpska, who will choose the best performances for the Gradiška audience.

The "Ljubica" Festival has become a significant cultural event that promotes theatrical art and offers audiences the opportunity to enjoy top-tier dramatic performances. 

Organizers promise numerous surprises, and theatre lovers can look forward to seven days of outstanding artistic experiences on the banks of the Sava River.
