WATERCOLOR EXHIBITION BY LJUBICA MILAŠ GAVRIĆ OPENS IN DOBOJ

The art exhibition showcasing watercolor artworks titled "Somehow with Spring" by Ljubica Milaš Gavrić from Novi Sad has been inaugurated in Doboj in celebration of International Women's Day.

Gavrić addressed journalists, stating that she presented 26 artworks dominated by landscapes and floral motifs.

She explained that watercolor is one of the beautiful yet most challenging techniques in painting, which she has perfected over the years under prominent artists in Novi Sad and at a workshop in France with the renowned Japanese watercolorist Keiko Tanabe.

- It is very difficult to tame water and color. It must flow, and it's challenging to capture the color, stated Gavrić.

She emphasized that she ventured into painting late in life and previously expressed her love for drawing by painting handbags.
