LITTLE ANGLERS ON A BIG MISSION

For all kids who love nature, water, and a bit of a challenge – fishing can be much more than just a hobby. It can be fun, educational, and a great way to make new friends!

For the first time, the City of Trebinje and the Trebinje Sport Fishing Society are organizing a Fishing School for children aged 7 to 14.

The school started on Friday, June 6, with the first theoretical class held at the administrative building of the Trebišnjica Hydropower Plant.

More than 50 children have signed up to participate. Over the next two weeks, they will take part in two theoretical and two practical classes – held both on the river and at Lake Bileća.

The school is led by experienced and passionate members of the “Leotar” Sport Fishing Society, and participation is completely free of charge.

This program offers children a unique opportunity to learn the basics of fishing, develop patience and focus, enjoy the outdoors, make new friends, and adopt healthy habits that will benefit them for life.
