"COOL JULY" IN ŠEKOVIĆI: REGISTER FOR THE SPEECH COMPETITION

As part of this year's "Cool July" event in Šekovići, a speech evening is scheduled for July 24th.

"This year, we will hold the speech competition for the fourth consecutive time. Students and high schoolers can register to participate. The jury for the evening consists of Mr. Rajko Lazić, a lawyer and the General Secretary of the Red Cross of the Republic of Srpska, Priest Ivan Savinović, and Prof. Dr. Dimitrije Ćeranić," says Marko Perendić, the director of the Šekovići Municipal Tourism Organization and one of the organizers.

All interested students and high schoolers can register under the following conditions:

The speech must be original, and the topic is free.

The speech must not contain any profanity or insults based on nationality, race, religion, or any other form of discrimination.

The speech should be between 5 and 7 minutes long.

Submit the speech text to the email address to.sekovici@gmail.com by July 20th. After reviewing the speech texts, the authors will be invited to participate in the competition.

For the past two years (2022 and 2023), the winner of the speech competition was Simeon Petković, a law student from East Sarajevo. Two years ago, ten days after his victory in Šekovići, Simeon also won the renowned "Nušićijada" competition with the same speech he delivered in Šekovići.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three places, and there is also a prize for the competitor who receives the most audience votes.
