THE STONE BRIDGE IN NEW SPLENDOR

The sandblasting work on the Stone Bridge has been completed.

The sandblasting was carried out according to the instructions of the Republic Institute for Cultural, Historical, and Natural Heritage, whose employees also supervised the work. The actual sandblasting was performed by workers from our town.

The bridge was entirely sandblasted and then sprayed twice with a special protective agent to preserve the stone's color in the coming period.

- The work lasted for over a month and required not only workers but also the use of a crane and a boat, as well as special traffic regulations. This is the first time the Stone Bridge has been sandblasted, and the project was financed by the City of Trebinje, said the Mayor of Trebinje, Mirko Ćurić.

Ćurić emphasized that the project was supported by the Trebinje Hydroelectric Power Plant and the Trebinje Sports Fishing Association.
