On the opening night, the audience enjoyed the play “Kiselina” (Acid), a co-production of the Bosnian National Theater Zenica, the 23rd Festival of Bosnian-Herzegovinian Drama Zenica 2024, and MESS Stage Sarajevo. The contemporary drama provoked strong reactions from both the audience and critics.

On the second competition night, the play “Naličje” (The Other Side) by the Montenegrin National Theater from Podgorica will be performed on the main stage.

As part of the festival’s side program, on June 4 at 7 PM, the exhibition “Soja Jovanović – A Theatrical Legacy” will be opened in the foyer of the National Theater of the Republic of Srpska. Organized by the Museum of Theatrical Arts of Serbia, the exhibition pays tribute to one of the most important female directors in the former Yugoslavia and offers a retrospective of her rich artistic legacy.

Welcome to Theater Fest “Petar Kočić” – a celebration of stage art, the spoken word, and the passion of performance.
