In anticipation of the two-day event “Christmas Fairy Tale,” which will be held in the coming days in Bileća, numerous organizations, companies, volunteers, and citizens have joined forces to give the town a festive look and once again let it shine in the spirit of Christmas and unity.
The youth organization “Jezerine” and the National Library “Vladimir Gaćinović,” with the support of the Municipality of Bileća, local entrepreneurs, and a large number of volunteers, have launched an extensive town decoration initiative. Through joint effort and enthusiasm, streets and public spaces are gaining warmer and more beautiful outlines, bringing a festive atmosphere not seen in Bileća for a long time.
The special value of this initiative lies in the fact that most of the decorations are the result of voluntary work and creativity of the people of Bileća themselves, without public procurement or formal procedures. It is precisely this unity and willingness to contribute to the community that have restored the feeling of festive joy and togetherness in the town.
After last year, when a small but dedicated group of volunteers launched the “Christmas Fairy Tale” and attracted a large number of visitors from across Herzegovina, this year the initiative has been significantly expanded. New individuals, institutions, and business entities are joining every day, showing that Bileća can and knows how to act united when it comes to a common goal.
The “Christmas Fairy Tale” event will be held on January 3 and 4 on the main town street, and visitors can expect a rich program designed for all generations. The organizers emphasize that the essence of the holidays lies in mutual support, socializing, and the joint creation of a more beautiful and happier town.
These days, Bileća is living in the spirit of the holidays, and through the combined efforts of citizens, volunteers, institutions, and the business community, the town is welcoming the “Christmas Fairy Tale” in full splendor—as a symbol of unity, generosity, and hope.
