39 IDEAS FOR CONVENTION CENTER IN TREBINJE

The call for submissions for the architectural and urban design competition for the construction of a Convention Center in Trebinje has yielded an impressive response, with 39 entries received.

An expert commission in Trebinje has commenced the evaluation process of these conceptual designs. Among the members tasked with selecting the winning proposal are Luka Petrović, the CEO of ERS, Vladan Đokić, the Rector of the University of Belgrade, Vladimir Lojanica, deans of architectural faculties in Belgrade, Banja Luka, and Podgorica, along with Saša Čvoro and Svetlana Perović. Additionally, the commission includes architectural engineers Dragan Šiniković and Radojka Nožica, as well as electrical engineer Mijomir Mijić.

This competition signifies a crucial step forward in the development of infrastructure and cultural amenities in the region, with the potential to shape the architectural landscape of Southern Serbia for years to come.
