The city of Gradiska, in collaboration with the company "RS Consulting & Trade Ltd. Banja Luka," will host the International Trade Fair for Economy, Agriculture, Tourism, Education, and Employment at the end of April.
Preparations
for this event, with over a hundred exhibitors spread across five thousand
square meters, are in their final stages. The fair serves as a business
platform enabling participants from various economic, social, and educational
sectors to establish contacts, exchange experiences, and promote their
capabilities and needs.
"The
aim of the event is to promote and showcase products and services of domestic
and foreign economic collectives, agricultural producers, economic experts, as
well as representatives of domestic and regional chambers of commerce,"
said Bojan Vujinovic, the city manager, to "Nezavisne novine."
The reason for holding the fair is the increasingly vigorous economic development of Gradiska, particularly in the last seven years. During this period, according to the City Administration data, revenue has increased by 76%, profits have doubled, and employment has risen by 30%. Significant technological progress has also been achieved.
"For
the first time in 2022, the revenue of companies within the territory of the
city of Gradiska exceeded one billion BAM. In this process, we realized that
education is the fundamental lever of social development. Over the past five
years, Gradiska has increased allocations for these purposes by about 30%,
totaling 3.3 million BAM annually," said Zoran Adzic, the mayor of
Gradiska. This is one of the reasons that have placed Gradiska in a leading
position in economic development in the region.
In addition to the economy, Gradiska will also showcase its potential in agriculture and tourism at this fair from April 26th to 28th, as stated by the city administration.
