GRADIŠKA HOSTS WINTER FIVE-KILOMETER RUN WITH OVER 100 ATHLETES

The Gradiška Athletic Recreational Club organized a five-kilometer half-marathon, attracting more than 100 athletes.

The Winter Five race started at the Gradiška Cultural Center, followed the Sava River promenade, and ended near the Ciglana area. Đorđe Ćerić, named the Best Athlete of Brod in 2023, claimed first place in the race. Davor Vidović from Banja Luka secured second place, while Miloš Klindo from Gradiška finished third.

In the women’s category, Snježana Pisarić took the top spot, followed by Marija Subotić in second and Sandra Ivanović in third, all hailing from Banja Luka.

Dejan Jakelić, the organizer and director of the Winter Five, emphasized that despite the cold weather, the event captured the attention of both athletes and local residents, leaving everyone satisfied.

Aleksandar Raca, President of the Gradiška Athletic Recreational Club, expressed gratitude to the many young individuals and volunteers from the Gradiška Red Cross who contributed to the race's successful organization.
