Young athlete Dajana Subotić, born on June 13, 2006, in Gradiška, is a member of the martial arts club Niten. She has been training in karate for 11 years and holds the master rank of Black Belt, 1st Dan.
Through her dedication and achievements, Dajana has proven that the values gained through sports bring results beyond the tatami. A multiple award-winning athlete, she is known for her fighting spirit, discipline, and perseverance – qualities she now successfully applies in her academic journey as well.
With exceptional knowledge and commitment, Dajana enrolled at the Faculty of Security Studies in Banja Luka, specializing in Security and Criminology, as the highest-ranked candidate among 117 applicants – a clear testament to her abilities and potential.
When it comes to her sports career, she has represented the karate national team of both the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina on two occasions. She has won 68 medals at domestic and international competitions, including a remarkable silver medal at the Balkan Championship in the U21 women’s category – an achievement officially recognized by the Karate Federation as an outstanding result. In addition, she has secured 8 medals at national championships of Bosnia and Herzegovina and 17 medals at the Republic level.

She is an inspiration and a living example that it is possible to build both a sports and academic career in parallel,” the club’s management emphasized.
