UKRAINIAN VOLLEYBALL PLAYER FINDS SUCCESS WITH BOSNIAN CLUB RADNIK

Maksim Donec, a Ukrainian volleyball player, has found success with the Bosnian club "Radnik" since joining in August 2023. Prior to his arrival at Radnik, Maksim spent six years training with "Lokomotiva" in Kharkiv and played three seasons in the local Super League. Subsequently, he ventured to another Ukrainian club before seeking refuge in Slovakia during the onset of conflict.

- I am very pleased because the team I am a part of managed to win literally everything that could be won, stated Maksim, reflecting on his achievements with Radnik. 

Under his tenure, Radnik clinched the Republic of Srpska Cup, the Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup, and the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Originally hailing from Kharkiv, Maksim, now 21, stumbled upon volleyball after pursuing swimming, karate, and aikido in his youth.

Expressing gratitude towards Radnik and the city of Bijeljina for their warm reception, Maksim expressed his desire for the Bijeljina volleyball team to maintain its dominance in the sport for years to come.

- For young individuals aspiring to excel in volleyball, I want to convey that talent, training, and perseverance are crucial, but everyone also needs individual motivation, which they can often cultivate on their own, emphasized Donec.
