Young athletes from Foča, members of the Sutjeska Athletics Club, delivered an impressive performance at the 17th International Shot Put Meeting "Draževina 2025," held in the village of Draževina near Podgorica, winning one silver and two bronze medals.
Sisters Jovana and Danica Mališ competed in the older pioneers’ category and both climbed the winners' podium.
Jovana secured second place and a silver medal with a throw of 9.08 meters, while Danica took third place and a bronze medal with a throw of 8.34 meters.
In the same category among boys, Stefan Kunarac claimed the bronze medal with a shot put throw of 8.82 meters.
The achievement is even greater considering that both Jovana and Stefan, who are younger pioneers, managed to win medals in the older pioneers’ competition.
Stefan Kunarac had previously competed out of competition at the Serbian Championship for younger pioneers in Belgrade, where he also won a silver medal, according to Sutjeska Athletics Club representatives.
