A 30-point performance in basketball is impressive, but scoring 30 goals in a handball match is an entirely different level of brilliance. And that is exactly what happened — a true sports spectacle worth taking a bow.
Kosta Stevandić, a young handball talent from Prijedor, delivered a jaw-dropping performance for Srednjoškolac in their match against Čelinac, netting an incredible 30 goals. Stevandić has been shining all season, not only in the First League matches for his hometown club Prijedor, but also in the jersey of Novi Grad’s team competing in the Second League of Republika Srpska – Group “West.”
Srednjoškolac dominated Čelinac with a convincing 46:25 (22:11) victory in the 8th round, climbing to fourth place on the table with eight points.
Watching Stevandić score with such ease is a true delight for handball fans. His remarkable talent and consistent performance have made him the key player and the driving force of Novi Grad’s squad this season.
According to Radio Novi Grad, this exceptional young athlete stopped at 30 goals — setting a new record for the Second League, and even across all competitions under the Handball Federation of Republika Srpska.
It is no surprise that this achievement is drawing attention from sports portals near and far, as it is extremely rare to witness a handball player reach such a stunning number in a single match.
The Second League for men now enters its winter break, with the second part of the season scheduled to resume in mid-March next year, Radio Novi Grad reminds.
