HUMANITARIAN KIDS FROM BORIK BRING HOLIDAY CHEER WITH GIFT BAGS

Versatile, talented, and humanitarian children from the Borik neighborhood, known as "the crew from the square," have decided to brighten the holidays for the youngest users of the "Mosaic of Friendship" public kitchen by donating around 100 gift bags.

Professor Nebojša Macanović from the Faculty of Political Science in Banja Luka, who has been helping this association with his students for years, decided to expand the humanitarian mission to the neighborhood.

The charity event is scheduled for January 3rd, where around twenty children will bring one or two gift bags to "Mosaic," the money for which will be raised by their parents. The children will also volunteer there for a while, as my goal is for them to see the other side of life and learn empathy, something that is lacking in our society today - said Macanović.

According to him, these children are active in other areas as well. For the past three years, they have participated in a small football tournament, naming their team "the crew from the square."

In cooperation with the "Center for Modern Knowledge" and the DIS theater, they acted in the play "Tutankhamun," in which people with disabilities also participated - added Macanović.
