THEY DESERVE A PLACE ON THE BILLBOARDS

Top students in Derventa are finally getting the recognition they truly deserve — on billboards!

This year, the City Administration of Derventa has taken a unique step to honor the students of the year by displaying their photos on a special city billboard, celebrating their hard work, knowledge, and achievements throughout their education.

The title of Student of the Generation at Primary School "Nikola Tesla" was awarded to Anja Sibinčić, who also earned the same honor at the Music School. At Primary School "19. April", the title went to Maja Nikolić, while Dragana Babić was named the best student of Primary School "Đorđo Panzalović".

Among high schools, the best student at Secondary School Center "Mihajlo Pupin" was Sergej Radanović. At the Vocational and Technical School, Nataša Stojanović received the award for the fourth degree program, and Tijana Radan for the third degree program.

Mayor Igor Žunić hosted a traditional reception for all the outstanding students — including the students of the generation from both primary and secondary schools, as well as 19 students who received the prestigious Vuk Stefanović Karadžić diploma for exceptional academic performance.

"By organizing this reception and presenting symbolic gifts, the City Administration wishes to express its recognition for their efforts. These students represent the future of Derventa. It is the duty of the local community to appreciate their work and provide them with full support," said Mayor Žunić.

The city also honored students who achieved top results at regional and national competitions, underlining once again that excellence deserves to be celebrated — and seen.
