YOUNG IGOKEA PLAYERS WIN THE 22ND "RADIVOJ KORAĆ" MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT

The young basketball team of Igokea from Laktaši triumphed at the 22nd “Radivoj Korać” Memorial Tournament, securing the trophy with a dominant 119:65 victory over Ruki in the final.

Before the final, Igokea had already shown their strength by defeating Borac and Maks in the group stage.

“The tournament was very well organized. We’ve just started working this season, and this trophy will really help us boost our confidence. Thanks to my teammates, we played a great tournament,” said Igokea’s Matej Kostić.

The organizers expressed their satisfaction with the event.

“We are very pleased. Thanks to all the teams for participating, and Igokea lived up to their role as favorites. We saw some very good games during these three days, and we hope that next year, when the club celebrates its 30th anniversary, the tournament will be even better and include more teams,” said Vuk Stupar on behalf of the organizers.

The tournament’s top scorer was David Lolić of Ruki, who finished with 75 points.
