BANJALUKA TO HOST FIRST CONFERENCE ON SYSTEMIC SUPPORT FOR YOUNG TALENTS

Banjaluka will host the first-ever conference dedicated to systemic support for gifted students and youth in the Republic of Srpska, taking place on September 26. The event is organized by the Faculty of Philosophy in Banjaluka, the NAUM Center for Giftedness, and the “Kaća” Foundation.

BANJALUKA TO HOST FIRST CONFERENCE ON SYSTEMIC SUPPORT FOR YOUNG TALENTS

Titled "From Potential to Success: Building an Inclusive Support Model for the Gifted", the conference will be held at the Student Cultural Center of the University of Banjaluka, under the patronage of BiH Presidency Member Željka Cvijanović.

This pioneering event aims to lay the foundation for a sustainable and inclusive system for identifying, monitoring, and developing talent among children and young people.

Organizers announce that the conference will gather academic experts, representatives of institutions and the business sector, as well as regional talent centers, in an effort to create a support network for talent development in the Republic of Srpska.

The program will feature renowned experts from the region, including Dr. Nemanja Martinović from the Petnica Science Center (Serbia), Korado Korlević from the Višnjan Science and Education Center (Croatia), as well as Prof. Dr. Milica Drobac-Pavićević and Mr. Branko Anđić from the NAUM Center and the Association of Psychologists of the Republic of Srpska.

A key part of the program will be a panel discussion titled "Support for the Gifted – Practices, Challenges, and Opportunities", featuring representatives of relevant institutions and regional talent centers.
