ACO ČAVIĆ PUTS AWARD UP FOR AUCTION - FOR SERGEJ

Renowned Banja Luka photographer Aleksandar "Aco" Čavić has been awarded the Betina Audience Award for the Best Photograph of 2024.

"This evening in Belgrade, I received the award for the best press photograph of Southeast Europe, as chosen by the audience. As I promised, I am putting the award, an 'iPad 10' tablet, up for auction for our Sergej. The highest bidder will receive instructions for payment directly to the bank account of Sergej's mother, Svjetlana. The starting price is 900 KM," Čavić stated on his Instagram profile.

Young man Sergej Stupar was in a traffic accident and became paralyzed, but he has a chance to receive treatment at a hospital in Moscow. The cost of treatment and travel amounts to 350,000 KM.

"Sergej is close to his goal, and it's up to us to support him in these final steps towards his treatment in Russia," Aleksandar Čavić said, announcing the auction.
