This year’s campaign proved to be the most ambitious yet, breaking new ground in both fundraising and public awareness efforts.

Throughout November, Superbrke led a series of initiatives aimed at raising funds for patients, organizing medical check-ups, and educating the public on the importance of men’s reproductive health.

Dr. Obren Tomić, a member of the association, proudly highlighted the campaign's achievements.

“In collaboration with SaMSIC and Iskra associations, we delivered 27 educational sessions at universities, high schools, and workplaces, training hundreds of Banja Luka residents in self-examination and stressing its importance. We also provided 135 free and discounted specialist medical check-ups. Adding the funds raised for the treatment of these two young men, I can confidently say that we have accomplished something remarkable,” said Dr. Tomić.

Zoran Šišić, president of Superbrke, emphasized the vital role of community involvement in the campaign’s success. The initiative extended beyond Banja Luka, reaching cities like Prijedor and Prnjavor.

“The list of those we need to thank is long. On behalf of everyone we’ve helped—whether by funding their recovery, promoting the importance of prevention, or encouraging timely check-ups—I want to say THANK YOU. Special recognition goes to our core Superbrke team of about ten volunteers who dedicated an entire month to this cause, sacrificing personal and professional obligations for something we deeply believe in. It’s heartwarming to see our efforts recognized and supported more than ever, as this year we raised more money than ever before,” said Šišić.

In total, the campaign raised 14,035.30 KM through donations, souvenir sales, and charity auctions. While a portion of the funds will support the association's future activities, Superbrke plans to use the donations to launch new initiatives, without waiting for next November.

“Support came from everywhere, from healthcare institutions to barbershops. Huge thanks to companies and brands like Bingo, Manja, Naša banka, Hemofarm, Lanaco, and Obsidian. Their contributions will allow us to provide free ultrasound exams throughout the next year. Additionally, this financial support will help us tackle another crucial issue—men’s mental health. I invite everyone to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok to stay updated on what we’re planning,” Šišić concluded.

Movember is a global campaign that has been held in Banja Luka since 2012, thanks to a dedicated group of volunteers who are now organized as the Superbrke citizen association.
