The Children's Kindergarten "Mother Courage" in Drvar has been renovated. The funds were provided by retired physician Čedomir Cvjetičanin, with the project carried out by the humanitarian organization "Serbs for Serbs."
75 toddlers attend the kindergarten in Drvar, where they
have all the conditions for proper development.
Benefactor Čedomir Cvjetičanin donated 50,000 KM for the
renovation of the kindergarten. The joinery was replaced, and part of the
facade was renovated.
"I am excited today to see so many children to whom I
have provided a nicer environment through donation, so that their future steps
will be more successful," said Čedomir Cvjetičanin, the benefactor of the
"Mother Courage" Children's Kindergarten.
Jovana Rodić, director of the "Mother Courage"
Children's Kindergarten, emphasized that the mentioned donation contributed to
improving the conditions for the children's stay in the institution and
reducing kindergarten costs.
The operation of the kindergarten in Drvar was initiated in 2018, after a 15-year hiatus.
"Today, we witness the improvement of the work of the
Children's Kindergarten in Drvar, which is fully financed by the municipality,
and any help is welcome," said Dušica Runić, the mayor of Drvar.
In addition to the kindergarten in Drvar and Osmaci, the
humanitarian organization "Serbs for Serbs," thanks to donations from
Čedomir Cvjetičanin, has also renovated and equipped several schools and health
centers.
Cvjetičanin is a retired physician who spent his working
life in Germany.
