At a time when social media is flooded with interethnic tensions and politicians often fuel division, a heartwarming and inspiring story of humanity, respect, and remembrance comes from the village of Kosova near Maglaj.
Salko Plančić, together with his brother Admir and a few friends, has fully restored and cleaned the Blžanović family Orthodox cemetery, which had long been neglected and worn down by time.
The cemetery is located in the hamlet of Buševci, near Kosova in the municipality of Maglaj.
Their act of kindness stands as a powerful reminder that respect for history and others’ heritage transcends ethnicity, offering hope and unity in a region too often marked by division.
