The footballers of Banja Luka’s Borac will play their league match against Sarajevo’s Željezničar on Saturday, November 29, at 4 p.m., and this time, the game carries not only a competitive spirit but also a strong humanitarian message.
As
announced by FK Borac, the red-and-blues will be fighting for more than just
points — they will be playing for “Mrvice,” the Association of Parents of
Prematurely Born Children in the Republic of Srpska.
“On Saturday, we play for another victory, but we also play for our ‘Mrvice,’ who once again this year embark on their noble mission. We invite everyone to dial 1413 and support their campaign, and we also call on our fans to greet them with thunderous applause at our City Stadium,” the club stated from its headquarters in Platonova Street.
The
Association “Mrvice” is organizing a donor evening aimed at raising funds for
much-needed medical equipment currently lacking in maternity departments across
the Republic of Srpska, where prematurely born babies receive care.
