The Organization for International Exchange of Medical Students of the Republic of Srpska “SaMSIC” (Srpska Medical Students International Committee) has launched a humanitarian campaign titled “Be Human, Make a Child Happy”, aimed at collecting funds for New Year’s gift packages for children from several institutions and socially vulnerable families.
The initiative’s mission is to brighten the upcoming holidays for the youngest and to remind the public that solidarity and humanity still hold an essential place in our society.
Organizers emphasize that every contribution matters and invite all legal and natural persons — companies, institutions, and individuals — to join the campaign and help bring joy to as many children as possible.
“Our goal is simple — to let as many children in Srpska as possible feel important and loved. We invite all people of good will to support us. Every donation, every gift, and every act of kindness means a lot,” the organizers said.
The campaign runs until December 6, and donations can be made to the account number 5520000000624840 at Addiko Bank. Additional information is available by phone at 065/821-590.
Organizers also stress that they will report transparently on all funds raised and on the distribution of the gift packages, ensuring donors have full insight into the process.
The student organization SaMSIC has successfully carried out numerous projects in the Republic of Srpska, focusing on prevention and early detection of serious illnesses. Their humanitarian work includes preventive and free medical check-ups, the Health Fair, the “Ladybug Hospital” project, and many other socially responsible activities.
“The campaign ‘Be Human, Make a Child Happy’ is yet another reminder that unity and empathy can bring the most valuable gifts of all — smiles on the faces of children,” students of the Banja Luka Faculty of Medicine emphasized.
