Banja Luka’s Western Balkan Songwriting Hub is extending an open invitation to musicians, songwriters, producers, and creative individuals eager to develop their skills in pop music creation. This unique opportunity is designed to enhance songwriting and composition abilities through a series of expert-led workshops.
“These workshops are tailored for beginners and intermediate-level singer-songwriters who want to grow their skills and boost their creativity. By the end of the program, participants will have the chance to create their own original song and bring their musical ideas to life,” the Hub organizers stated.
Led by acclaimed singer-songwriter Hristina Vuković from Belgrade, the workshops will begin on September 3, 2025, at 6:00 PM, and continue on September 4 at 5:00 PM. Sessions will be held at Kuća Milanovića, the home base of the Western Balkan Songwriting Hub.
The program consists of 12 sessions, guiding participants through the complete process of creating a song—from writing lyrics and melodies to arrangement, mixing, and mastering. The first four sessions will cover the fundamentals of songwriting and composition, exploring song structures and chord progressions in depth.
“Hristina Vuković will guide attendees through every stage of the creative journey, offering personalized feedback and professional support to help participants shape their ideas into fully produced songs,” the Hub added.

The Western Balkan Songwriting Hub is a regional initiative connecting songwriters, producers, and performers across the Western Balkans, aiming to foster creative collaboration and advance the regional music scene.
The Hub operates as both a physical space and a digital platform, supported by the European Union through the “Culture and Creativity for the Western Balkans (CC4WBs)” project, implemented by the Regional Office of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation in Tirana.
“Our mission is to create a space where the rich cultural and linguistic diversity of the region is transformed into modern music production. We believe this diversity is our greatest strength, and that the authentic voice of the Balkans can resonate far beyond its borders,” the organizers concluded.
