Banja Luka’s Health Center and Academy of Arts have signed an agreement enabling art students to paint and decorate clinic spaces. This initiative aims to enhance not only the aesthetic appeal of these spaces but also to create a more pleasant and inspiring atmosphere for patients and medical staff.
The agreement was signed by Dragana Purković-Macan, Dean of the Academy of Arts, and Nevena Todorović, Director of the Health Center. It represents a significant step toward improving the community through creative and educational collaboration.
According to a statement from the Health Center, the agreement allows interested students from the Academy of Arts to decorate the Specialized Gynecology Clinics and the Breast Disease Diagnostics rooms in the Radiology and Ultrasound Department. This effort will contribute to the aesthetic transformation of these spaces, fostering a welcoming and uplifting environment for all visitors and staff.
The students' artistic works will bring new energy to the Health Center, offering a visually stimulating atmosphere that may positively impact recovery and overall well-being.
Additionally, medical staff will provide educational lectures on health promotion and disease prevention for the art students. This knowledge exchange strengthens mutual collaboration and enhances the students' awareness of the importance of health care while enriching their professional competencies for future careers.
"We hope this project inspires similar initiatives and raises awareness about the importance of health and art in everyday life," emphasized representatives from the Banja Luka Health Center.
