To the delight of many children and their parents, reconstruction of eight playgrounds, which have shown signs of wear and tear over time, is set to begin soon.
Broken seesaws and swings, weathered slides, and deteriorating benches will become a thing of the past, making room for safer play areas for children.
The Department of Municipal Services announced that several more playgrounds in the city will be revitalized this year.
- The focus is on renovating existing playgrounds in neighborhoods where they have become run-down, stated officials from the department.
They highlighted plans for the renovation of playgrounds on Carice Milice Street, Srđe Zlopogleđe Street, Save Ljuboje Street, Tarasa Ševčenka Street, as well as playgrounds in Lorkin Naselje and the neighborhoods of Borik and Centar.
