CHILDREN PLANT CHESTNUT TREES IN MLADEN STOJANOVIĆ PARK

Representatives of the City of Banja Luka, together with children from the “Kod bake” kindergarten, planted wild chestnut saplings in Mladen Stojanović Park as part of the “Clean Face of the City” campaign.

The saplings were donated by the Institute for Genetic Resources.

On behalf of the City, the Mayor’s Legal Affairs Advisor, Vedrana Prole, stated that this activity further enriches a public space that is frequently used by both citizens and visitors.

"With this campaign, we are not only increasing the number of trees in the city but also sending a clear message about the importance of preserving nature and our responsibility to future generations," said Prole. She also invited fellow citizens to take care of the city’s greenery and to actively participate in similar initiatives in the future.
