The Government of the Republic of Srpska has adopted a decision to construct a modern facility for the needs of a Science and Technology Park in the University City area of Banja Luka.
A
preview of the planned design for this contemporary building was shared by
Prime Minister Savo Minić on the social media platform X, offering the public
an early look at the project.
“The
goal is to attract innovative companies, develop a knowledge-based economy,
support startups and spin-off companies, and strengthen cooperation between
science and industry,” Minić stated.
The
project is expected to contribute to digital transformation, promote
entrepreneurship and innovation, and create new job opportunities, while also
attracting highly qualified professionals.
On
April 17, the Government of the Republic of Srpska adopted information on
securing funds necessary to obtain a construction permit for the Science and
Technology Park. For this phase of the project, 1.1 million KM has been
allocated.
