BANJALUKA BECOMES THE EPICENTER OF MUSIC TRENDS

Banjaluka has welcomed a new center of musical creativity – the Western Balkans Composers Hub was officially opened in the historic Milanović House.

This innovative project brings together young musicians, songwriters, and producers from across the region.

The Hub is envisioned as a space for networking, idea exchange, skill development, and authentic artistic collaboration. It also provides young talents with the opportunity to gain visibility on both regional and international stages.

This musical movement, which begins now in Banjaluka, will continue in Belgrade in June 2025, further strengthening ties among artists from the Western Balkans.

The initiative has been realized in collaboration with UNESCO, the EU Office in Banjaluka, the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, the national platform Serbia Creates, and the Ložionica Center. Together, they are bringing fresh energy to the heart of the region’s creative industries.

We also remind the public that the construction of the Creative Industries Center in Banjaluka is currently underway. Once completed, it will further enhance the local music scene and help make art and creativity an integral part of everyday life in the city.
