We are certain that future generations in East Sarajevo and the Republic of Srpska, thanks to this statue and the nurturing of a culture of remembrance, will never forget a great man like Miodrag Lazić, said Božović.
He added that a film is being made about the great humanitarian, Dr. Lazić, and the municipality of East Ilidža is covering part of the costs. As Božović emphasized, Dr. Lazić will be on eternal watch for his people of Ilidža and all Sarajevo Serbs at the promenade that bears his name. This event was also attended by Lazić's daughter Nina and his wife Ana.
