WORLD-FAMOUS FREESTYLE MOTOCROSS STARS COMING TO BANJA LUKA

As part of this year’s Freshwave Festival, the historic Kastel Fortress in Banja Luka will host the jaw-dropping Red Bull FMX Jam on August 7 – the biggest freestyle motocross (FMX) show in the region.

Leading the lineup is Red Bull athlete Jose “Mincha” Canosa, joined by fellow FMX stars Mario Lucas and Troy Verburgh. These world-class riders will light up the sky with gravity-defying stunts, roaring engines, and a spectacle of lights, sound, and adrenaline.

Mincha, one of the biggest names in European FMX, has thrilled crowds at Night of the Jumps and Gladiator Games, earning a reputation for technical precision and fearless mid-air combinations. Recently, he wowed social media with a daring tandem trick alongside Danny Roman — soaring over a ramp while Roman sped underneath in a wingsuit at full velocity.

And Mincha isn’t coming just to participate – he’s coming to dominate.

Joining him from Spain is Mario Lucas, a former motocross champion and EMX125 podium finisher who recently switched to freestyle to connect more closely with fans. Riding a KTM SX 250, Lucas brings a perfect blend of old-school control and new-school flair.

Also taking the stage is Troy Verburgh, the youngest of the trio, but carrying a legacy. His father, Jimmy Verburgh, was one of the pioneers of European FMX, and Troy is now blazing his own trail on a GASGAS MC 250. Expect precision, high jumps, and fresh tricks rarely seen from a newcomer.

Red Bull FMX Jam is not a competition – it’s a show, a fusion of extreme sports and performance art. With pounding music, roaring bikes, and jaw-dropping aerial stunts, the audience is in for an unforgettable experience.

The event takes place on August 7 at Kastel Fortress, marking the opening night of the Freshwave Festival. Entry is included with the festival's daily ticket, and children under 14 enter free of charge when accompanied by an adult. Gates open at 7 PM, and the show kicks off at 8 PM.
