The opening ceremony of the World Rafting Championships saw a colorful array of flags representing countries from all continents.
This global sporting event has brought more than 400 competitors from 60 teams representing 22 countries to Banja Luka.
This marks the third time that Banja Luka has hosted the World Rafting Championships on the Vrbas River, providing an unforgettable experience for both competitors and visitors.
The sprint and H2H competitions will take place at the White Water section, while the slalom will be held in the Tijesno Canyon. The adrenaline-fueled descent will stretch from Krupe on the Vrbas to Karanovac.
This championship once again proves that the Vrbas River is an excellent destination for professional rafters and adventure enthusiasts alike, seeking thrills and challenges in wild waters.
In addition to positioning Banja Luka as the epicenter of a global sporting event, this competition has showcased Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina as must-visit tourist destinations.
