The event will take place on July 2 at 7 p.m. on the green area near the Dayak Boat Dock, offering families a unique opportunity to set aside mobile phones and digital devices and enjoy the simple pleasures of outdoor games that once defined childhood for generations.

Organizers are inviting children, parents, grandparents, and all lovers of nostalgic summer moments to come together, relive cherished memories, and spend an evening filled with laughter, friendship, and traditional games along the banks of the Vrbas River.

"Turn off your screens and enjoy the games of our childhood," is the message from the organizers, who hope to remind people of the importance of spending quality time together, enjoying the outdoors, and reconnecting without the distractions of modern technology.

"Offline Day – Marbles, Not Clicks" is one of many events featured in this year's "Summer on the Vrbas 2026," a month-long festival that throughout July brings a rich program of cultural, sports, and entertainment activities for all generations.

The event promises to transport visitors back to simpler times, allowing them to revive old games, create new memories, and celebrate the spirit of summer by the Vrbas River, which once again remains the heart of seasonal events and gatherings in Banja Luka.
