KASTEL IN THE SPIRIT OF CULTURE AND ENTERTAINMENT

As part of the Night of Fortresses, held across Europe, Kastel Fortress in Banja Luka will host the “Night of Fortresses – Goes Green” program on May 9, 2026.

Kastel Fortress will welcome visitors with a rich and diverse program that combines history, education, and entertainment, making it one of the most engaging cultural events in the region.

Night of Fortresses Program – Activities and Content

Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy knightly games organized by the Kozara Knights “Rusag,” offering an authentic presentation of medieval tradition.

The educational segment of the program includes the “Little Archaeologists” workshop, organized by the Association of Archaeologists of Republika Srpska and the Museum of Republika Srpska, as well as the “Young Explorers” workshop in cooperation with the Faculty of Philosophy in Banja Luka.

A special highlight of the evening will be a theatrical performance by Duško Mazalica titled “Knightly Archery Tournament,” further enriching the cultural content of the event.

Concert by Romana Panić – Central Musical Event

The musical part of the program will feature a concert by Romana Panić on the main stage, bringing the evening to a festive and entertaining close.

International Project and European Union Support

The event is organized with the support of the Interreg IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro, co-funded by the European Union, within the GIFTSnet project.
