The festival kicks off on Friday, June 12, with a major concert by regional music star Nina Badrić, while Saturday is reserved for a full-day festival program with free admission for all visitors.

Kastel Turns Into a Coffee Oasis

This year's Coffee Fest will be held for the first time at the Stone House area within Kastel Fortress, with organizers promising the most diverse and ambitious edition yet. Under the slogan "Picnic Edition", the festival combines outdoor enjoyment, socializing and a laid-back summer atmosphere at one of Banja Luka's most iconic locations.

Throughout the day, visitors will have the opportunity to discover different coffee varieties, learn about the latest brewing trends and enjoy drinks in a range of themed zones dedicated to coffee culture.

From Espresso to Matcha: A Journey Through Flavours

Particular attention will be drawn to the themed houses spread across the festival grounds.

Coffee enthusiasts will be able to explore areas such as Espresso House, Cappuccino House, Latte House, Ice Coffee House, Affogato House, Matcha House, Specialty Coffee House and Capsule Coffee Lab, each showcasing unique preparation methods, rich aromas and contemporary coffee trends.

The festival is not designed exclusively for coffee lovers. Visitors will also find Bakery House offering fresh pastries and desserts, Chocolate House, a Refresh Bar featuring natural juices and refreshing beverages, and a Coffee Cocktail Bar serving creative cocktails inspired by the world's favourite caffeinated drink.

Picnic Zone for Relaxation and Family Fun

One of the festival's highlights will be the specially designed "Picnic Experience" area near the Stone House. Guests will be able to relax outdoors, enjoy quality time with friends and family, and immerse themselves in the festival's easy-going atmosphere.

Activities for all generations have been planned, including a dedicated children's zone, educational workshops and a variety of entertainment programs throughout the day.

Nina Badrić Opens the Festival Weekend

The music program begins on Friday evening with a performance by one of the region's most popular singers, Nina Badrić.

The concert at Kastel Fortress is scheduled to start at 8 p.m., promising an evening filled with emotions, beloved hits and songs from her latest album. The Croatian star's performance will officially mark the opening of the festival weekend.

Sunset Session Closes the Day

Saturday's program will conclude with the popular Sunset Session, beginning at 6 p.m.

Against the backdrop of a stunning sunset over the Vrbas River, renowned regional DJs Danijel Čehranov and Mladen Tomić will deliver an energetic electronic music experience, providing the perfect finale to the festival day.

Sunny Weather Adds to the Festival Experience

According to weather forecasts, Banja Luka can expect sunny and warm conditions throughout the weekend, which is likely to contribute to strong attendance at an event that continues to establish itself as one of the city's most attractive urban festivals.

With its unique combination of coffee culture, music, gastronomy and outdoor entertainment, Banja Luka Coffee Fest once again promises an unforgettable weekend at Kastel Fortress.
