FASHION TAKES TO THE STREETS OF BANJA LUKA – “PARKIĆ” TO BECOME AN OPEN-AIR FASHION STAGE

For fashion lovers, as well as visitors and residents looking to experience Banja Luka in a different way, Elite Fashion Connection will bring fashion directly to the streets of the largest city in Republika Srpska.

On September 12, Banja Luka will get a unique open-air fashion stage, with the “Parkić” promenade set to become a meeting point for designers, models, creatives and fashion enthusiasts.

Starting at 6 p.m., one of the city's most recognisable central locations will be transformed into a large fashion runway as part of the Elite Fashion Connection event.

The main attraction will be a runway approximately 130 metres long, stretching from the Milanović House to Banski Dvor. The unusual setting will connect several well-known city landmarks while giving fashion a completely new urban backdrop.

FASHION BRANDS FROM ACROSS THE REGION

This year's Elite Fashion Connection will bring together designers and fashion brands from Banja Luka and the wider region.

Among the participants are Banja Luka-based brands ELANI Fashion, Dama kao mama and Melanija Design, while Femenina by Isidora from Croatia and Jezdimiro from Serbia will also present their collections.

Organisers are preparing a diverse programme featuring different fashion aesthetics – from elegant and glamorous creations and children's fashion to contemporary designer collections.

“RE-KOD” – A FUSION OF TRADITION AND CONTEMPORARY FASHION

A special part of the evening will be the “RE-KOD” fashion performance, which will offer a contemporary interpretation of the traditional heritage of Zmijanje through various artistic approaches.

Tradition, ornament and form will be combined with contemporary fashion expression, creating a distinctive fusion of cultural heritage and modern design.

FASHION AS PART OF THE CITY

The event is organised by E'Couture Models Agency, headed by Žana Bjelinić, who is also behind the concept and organisation of the event.

The idea behind the manifestation is to take fashion outside traditional indoor venues and make it part of urban life, creating a direct connection between designers, models and the public.

On September 12, the “Parkić” promenade and its long runway through the heart of Banja Luka will become a space where fashion, creativity, tradition and contemporary urban life come together.

Elite Fashion Connection is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. on September 12.
