The Banja Luka fortress Kastel will transform into the epicenter of top-tier electronic music on May 16, when world-renowned artists such as Technasia, Nebs Jack, Ivan Z, Stefan Ivanković, and Jan Frost arrive in the city on the Vrbas River.
Organized by the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with Freshwave Festival, Garden of Dreams, and From Herz With Love, this unforgettable music event will mark Europe Day by launching the audience into a night full of dancing, energy, and freedom.
From 8:00 PM to 3:00 AM, the stage will host a stellar lineup of international and regional performers, with a highlight being the return of Technasia — a globally acclaimed DJ and producer who previously wowed the crowd at the ninth edition of the Freshwave Festival with his electrifying performance.
“We are very proud to be part of this significant event celebrating Europe Day. Music has a unique power to unite people, transcend borders, and strengthen the feeling of community. Freshwave Festival has always been a gathering place for electronic music lovers, and this event further confirms how important our city is on the regional music map,” said the organizers of Freshwave Festival.
Audiences from Banja Luka and the surrounding area will have the chance to enjoy top-quality music while celebrating the values of unity, freedom, and diversity through shared experiences.
The event in Banja Luka is part of the wider celebration of Europe Day, held under the slogan “We Dance Together” in three Bosnian cities — Sarajevo, Mostar, and Banja Luka. Its aim is to connect young people through music and promote love, freedom, diversity, and togetherness as core European values.
Entry to the event is free, and organizers invite everyone to join this major celebration at Kastel. Don’t miss your chance to be part of a one-of-a-kind atmosphere — come and celebrate Europe Day with music that brings people together!
