Gamification has become a crucial tool for connecting brands with users, while video game development offers numerous opportunities for innovation and business growth. These topics will be at the center of discussion at InterPlay Summit v2.0, a regional conference set to take place on February 27, 2025, in Banja Luka at the Regional Chamber of Commerce.

This announcement comes from Legit d.o.o., a Banja Luka-based video game development company and one of the summit’s organizers.

“The conference will bring together experts from the video game industry, academia, business sector, and representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations to discuss current trends, challenges, and opportunities in this dynamic field. Organized by Legit d.o.o., the Regional Chamber of Commerce Banja Luka, and the Committee for Video Game Production and Design, with support from the Swiss Agency for Development, the event will offer participants a chance to exchange knowledge, network, and gain insights into the latest technological and business innovations in the video game sector,” said representatives from Legit.

The program will feature a series of panels and lectures addressing the needs and successes of the regional video game industry, the application of gamification in business, and innovations in technology and marketing.

“One of the key topics will be the evolution of the gaming industry in the region, where experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Croatia will discuss challenges and opportunities for growth. A particular highlight will be the keynote speech by Tarik Čatić from Novo Nordisk, who will talk about the application of gamification in connecting brands with consumers. Through concrete examples, the presentation will showcase how video game elements are used across different industries to enhance customer engagement and brand loyalty,” Legit representatives emphasized.

Visitors to the conference will also have the opportunity to test VR installations and demo versions of games developed by regional companies. Beyond its educational component, the summit will provide ample opportunities for networking and experience sharing among participants.
