Freshwave Festival has officially unveiled the live performer lineup for this year’s edition, set to take place from August 6 to 8 at the iconic Kastel Fortress in Banja Luka.
Some
of the biggest and most relevant regional acts are heading to the festival
stages this summer, including Grše, Buč Kesidi, Zoster, Let 3, Vojko V, Z++,
and Elemental.
With
the announcement of the live program, Freshwave further confirms this year’s
festival concept, “Enter the Nexus,” aimed at connecting different musical
genres, generations of festivalgoers, and the diverse energy of the regional
music scene. The lineup combines alternative rock, hip-hop, indie sounds,
electronic influences, and crossover performers who have helped shape the
contemporary regional music landscape for years.
One of
the most sought-after regional hip-hop names, Grše, arrives at Kastel following
a series of sold-out performances across the region, while Buč Kesidi will
bring the signature concert energy that has made them one of the most important
bands of the new generation.
Also
joining the lineup is Mostar-based Zoster, a band that has secured a special
place on the regional scene thanks to its authentic sound and socially engaged
lyrics. Alongside them, the legendary Let 3 will once again confirm their reputation
as one of the most provocative and energetic live acts in the region.
Festival
audiences can also expect performances by Vojko V and Z++, artists who have
defined a new era of regional hip-hop and trap music, while Elemental will
deliver its recognizable fusion of rap, funk, and socially conscious lyrics.
Freshwave once again highlights the festival’s continuous growth, further expanding its concept this year and positioning itself as a central meeting point for different musical styles, offering visitors a unique experience that goes beyond genre boundaries.
“Nexus
represents a point of connection, a place where music, people, and ideas come
together. Through this year’s lineup, Freshwave is showcasing exactly that
philosophy. We are bringing together artists of different styles and energies
with one common goal — to offer the audience an authentic and powerful festival
experience,” the organizers said.
They
also noted that the live lineup announcement is not yet complete, adding that
more major names and additional festival content will be revealed soon.
Founded
in 2012, Freshwave Festival has grown into one of the most significant music
festivals in Southeast Europe, gathering thousands of visitors from across the
region and abroad each year.
