BEREŠKI WATERFALL: A PARADISE FOR THE EYES, A BALM FOR THE SOUL

Bereški, a travertine waterfall, is located at the confluence of the Bereg River and Rakitnica near the village of Rakitnice, eight kilometers north of Rogatica.

The water cascades from a height of between 10 and 12 meters over a travertine barrier.

At the base of the waterfall, in a large amphitheater, a small turquoise lake has formed, about two meters deep.

This natural setting, a paradise for the eyes and a balm for the soul, is often enjoyed by anglers and hikers.
