THOUSANDS OF SKIERS, DAY AND NIGHT SKIING, CONCERTS AND ENTERTAINMENT MARK THE OPENING OF THE SEASON AT JAHORINA

The Olympic Center “Jahorina” has officially opened the winter season, during which more than 5,000 skiers used the prepared slopes over four days, while concerts by regional music stars were also held.

During this period, conditions were provided for both day and night skiing thanks to the artificial snowmaking system. Low humidity and low night temperatures enabled continuous snow production, the Olympic Center “Jahorina” announced.

Concerts were held at the “Vučko” Hotel, featuring performances by Milica Pavlović, Maja Berović, Nikola Rokvić and Haris Džinović, adding to the festive atmosphere and entertainment for visitors.

In the coming days, sunny and colder weather is expected. Currently, the ski slopes “Poljice 1” and “Poljice 1b” are open to skiers, while capacities will be gradually expanded in line with weather conditions and user demand.

A 50 percent discount on ski passes remains in effect in the upcoming period.

The Olympic Center “Jahorina” has also announced preparations for New Year’s celebrations, when, weather permitting, visitors will be able to enjoy midnight skiing and a large New Year’s Eve party at the “Olimp Bar.”
