BANJALUKA TO HOST THE FIRST TARGA RALLY – REGIONAL DRIVERS ARRIVE FOR A SPEED SPECTACLE

Banjaluka will become the regional center of motorsport excitement from October 10 to 12, 2025, as it hosts the first Targa Rally Challenge Cup, an international event that will bring together 50 racing crews from Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Over the course of three days, visitors can expect more than 15 hours of pure adrenaline, thrilling races, drift shows, and top entertainment at the Zalužani autodrome.

Ceremonial Start in Laktaši

The event will officially begin on Friday, October 10, with a ceremonial start at the Laktaši Pool parking area, starting at 7:30 PM. All participating crews and their cars will be presented to the audience.

The opening ceremony is free and open to the public, offering fans a chance to meet the drivers and feel the energy before the racing weekend begins.

Rally, Drift Show, and Drift Taxi – A Weekend Full of Adrenaline

Saturday and Sunday are reserved for the main racing spectacle at the Zalužani circuit, which combines asphalt and dirt tracks for a dynamic and unpredictable racing experience.

In addition to the rally stages that test both drivers and their machines, the audience will enjoy a Drift Show – featuring smoke, screeching tires, the smell of fuel, and precision driving by some of the region’s best drift masters.

For those eager for an extra thrill, the event will also feature a Drift Taxi, where visitors can experience the excitement of a real drift ride from the passenger seat.

Festival Zones and All-Day Entertainment

The Targa Rally Challenge is designed as more than just a race — it’s a festival of speed, fun, and lifestyle.

Visitors will be able to enjoy several themed corners:

Drive Corner – a zone featuring sponsor vehicles, auto gadgets, and new car models

Quad Corner – an exhibition of the latest ATV and UTV models

Food & Drink Corner – a gastronomic zone with food, drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere

Barber Corner – a spot where drivers can refresh their look before the party

Fun & Party Zone – evening parties and entertainment that turn Zalužani into a true motorsport arena

“Our goal is to make the Targa Rally Challenge more than just a race. We want to create a spectacle that blends sport, entertainment, and adrenaline, so that visitors can enjoy both day and night,” the organizers said.

Super Power Night Stage and Hangar Party

The highlight of Saturday’s program will be the Super Power Night Stage – a night rally section featuring light and pyrotechnic effects, offering a completely new driving experience.

After the races, the excitement continues at the Hangar Party Zone, where DJs, lights, and great energy will keep the crowd dancing late into the night.

From October 10 to 12, Zalužani will become the heart of adrenaline, speed, and good energy.
