NEWLY RENOVATED HIKING TRAIL OPENED ON TVRDIMIĆI

The Mountaineering Sports Society "Trebević" from Istočno Sarajevo has completed the renovation of a 10-kilometer hiking trail on Tvrdimići, according to society member Goran Motika.

"The trail has been restored in accordance with the standards of the Mountaineering Association of Republika Srpska. It is suitable for all age groups, including parents with children, and features two beautiful viewpoints overlooking the Kasidol stream canyon, the Vršeljak peak, medieval tombstones (stećci), and numerous picturesque landscapes," Motika said.

The renovation work was carried out by members of the "Trebević" society.

Motika added that the trail, now fully marked with official mountaineering signs, will be registered in the cadastre of the Mountaineering Association of Republika Srpska as the first of its kind in the area of the city of Istočno Sarajevo, according to RTV Istočno Sarajevo.

The entire project was fully funded by the Municipality of Istočno Novo Sarajevo.
